Heating of a residential building

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to design heating and hot water production in an apartment block. The theoretical part is based on the topic of the preparation of hot water. The calculation part includes the calculation of heat losses, the suggestion of heat transfer surfaces, the dimensioning of pipes and the suggestion of the heat source for heating and warm water. Gas condensing boilers are applied as a heat source. They are located in the technical room. The preparation of hot water and the heat consumption measurements in flats are solved by district heating substations.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is design of heating and warm water preparation of health center. The project expect natural ventilation and consists of calculating heat losses, designing of heat source, heat transfer surfaces designing, pipeline proposition and regulation, warm water preparation designing and designing of boiler room. Warm water is preparing in combined DHW cylinder by heating water from boiler. Source of heat is pellet boiler.

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is design of heating and warm water preparation of leisure center. Project is solved in two variants. First variant expect only natural ventilation. Second variant provide for a forced ventilation for whole object. Source of heat is pellet boiler, charged storage tank. Warm water is preparing in combined DHW cylinder. As heat transfer surfaces are design heating bodies.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the operational efficiency of heat sources . The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part a theoretical solution of the heat sources efficiency can be found. In the second part there is a calculation solution of the project. The project solves the heating of a football stadium. Two variants of the heating source and warm water preparation are suggested and the variants are consequently compared and evaluated. The last part is experimental - the topic of the experiment is the efficiency of heat sources.

As a heat source is applied gasification boiler on wood. Warm water is heated by heating water from acumulation tank. The project includes a technical report and drawings.
